THE SPIRIT OF SPORTS
Oh oh
oh ~ ooh eh oh oh ~
Our
athletes’ spirit, hey
Unite
and work hard, ho
Khmer
must be glorious, hey
R: We
put our hands up and yell, oh ~
Today,
we win and we continue to yell, oh ~
We
put our hands up and yell, oh ~
Today,
we win and we continue to yell, oh ~
We
continue to yell “we are Cambodia’s pillars”.
We
continue to yell “we are Cambodia’s pillars”.
We
all are Khmer, we promote our country and help one another.
The
Cambodian flag in our hand has great value for us.
We
retain our ancestral reputation called “Khmer Angkor”.
We
are strong, we stand shoulder to shoulder, we are really strong and we yell
“The spirit of sports”. (x2)
Rap:
We don’t believe, we can’t win. If we work hard, we will win. So we must make
great efforts for success.
Let’s
do it, don’t wait anymore. Yeah, we are the best, we are the champions, we
change the face of our country, we are at the top, nobody wants to stop,
because they will know we are the best, if we are strong.
Cambodia,
Cambodia, we must unite for success, place the budding lotus hands to praying for
our Cambodia’s sports.
We
yell for Cambodia, we struggle to the end, we don’t turn back, don’t give up,
we must defeat the opponents.
We achieve
our dream step by step, we practice and create for our next generation. (x6)
We
are faster, higher, and stronger than others.
R: ~
We
continue to yell “we are Cambodia’s pillars”. (x3)
We
continue to yell that we support Cambodia's sports.

There are two reasons why we like this song. The first reason: it’s a really pleasant song. Of course, we also chose this song because it’s really popular in Cambodia. It was written to celebrate the first Cambodia National Game in 2016. The second reason: the meaning of this song is really good. It tells us about the spirit of Cambodia’s sports and athletes -unity, hard work, not giving up. On top of these, its music video shows us Khmer culture such as art, clothes, musical instruments, sports, etc.
Chan Dararith, Sim Sinai, Seoung Sokho:
I LOVE MY MOM THE MOST IN THE WORLD
This life story, don’t know when it started. Just know that when I don’t have money, I always miss my mother first. When I was a teenager, I used to say “I’m very upset when mom blames me”. Nagging none-stop. But she always looks from behind. When I wake up, I will hear mom blaming every time, but her voice starts turning into a sweet melody. After I grew up, all this thoughts are not the same like when I was young. I understood the reason: Mom did everything just to make me become a good child. In this world, I love my mother the most. So excited to be born as your child. This life is very exhausting, but Mom is always by my side in every situation. Even if I have to be tired, I won’t stop loving my mother. I know I can’t describe how much I love you in one song and I wish you will listen to it when you’re mad at me. Mom, please don’t cry, ok? This child has made you really tired. I want you to smile a lot more to me. Mom is a beautiful and outstanding woman, forever in my heart.

One
reason I love this song so much is that it has a really good and touching
meaning. This song shows the lives of teenagers who hate their parents for
blaming them. And after that those teenagers grow up and regret their anger
when they realize that their parents just want them to have a good life.
